Responsibilities:

The position includes working individually within a team to complete complex and technically challenging aspects of utility design. Development of drawings that include base mapping of right-of-way, utilities, and property information.

 

Required Education/Experience:                                                                       

  • Associate’s degree or other technical education.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Excel and Word proficiency.
  • The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.

 

Desired Education/Experience

  • 3+ years experience in utility design.
  • Ability to produce applicable drawings from rough sketches, reports, notes, vendor drawings, and such.
  • Ability to perform editing, quality control, and quantities.
  • Ability to interpret clients CAD standards and develop internals standards where none exist.
  • 3D CAD experience is a plus.
