 Summary:

Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc. seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our company, and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, the successful CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our firm. The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute the financial strategy of the Company
  • Manage financial controls and accounting procedures  
  • Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company  
  • Provide advice on revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives  
  • Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner  
  • Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans  
  • Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments  
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization;
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process and execute on established initiatives
  • Evaluate potential strategic alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers
  • Oversee Company employee benefit plans and optimize benefits packages
  • Evaluate and arrange debt and equity financing for Milhouse and affiliate Companies
  • Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.
  • Assume an international focus as it relates to all responsibilities

 Qualifications:

           Preferred

  • MBA
  • Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA or CPA)
  • 10+ years’ experience in a senior financial managerial position
          Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
