SummaryThis role entails estimating responsibilities for construction projects utilizing estimating software and Microsoft excel to determine an accurate price for related work.

Job Duties/Qualifications:

  • The ability to produce construction schedules to verify the time accuracy of a bid is necessary.
  • The ability to utilize on screen takeoff of quantities is necessary.
  • Keeping historical data for unit price and production rates for labor is necessary.
  • Keeping subcontractor and supplier contact information up to date is necessary.
  • Soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers is necessary.
  • Ability to visit job sites and assess them
  • Read architectural drawings and understand specifications.
  • Provide accurate material/labor take offs.
  • Establish strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Attend on site pre-bid proposals and job meetings when needed.
  • Experience with construction estimation software a plus.
  • Ability to work full-time in Office environment
  • 1-3 Year's of experience in construction management and/or estimation
