General Description:

Perform entry design or project management on a large variety of projects under the direct supervision of client or Milhouse Engineering management. Typical design work includes site civil work, drainage, stormwater management, transportation, underground utilities, water and wastewater.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Design to client and regulatory requirements
  • Keep management advised and of all quality, schedule and budget variances in a timely manner
  • Shop drawing review and disposition
  • Prepare project documents and reports
  • Maintain project files
  • Data and document entry into various platforms
  • Assist management as directed
  • CAD and CADD

Minimal Education and Experience

  • One plus year experience
  • Four year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • ACAD or MicroStation Civil 3D exposure
  • The ability to type 37 wpm with 92% accuracy

Additional Desirable Education and Experience

  • Memberships in discipline specific professional organizations such as ASCE
  • EIT

Required After Employment Pre-Requisites Prior to Field Assignment

  • OSHA 10 Hour Certification
  • First aid Training

Additional Recommended Training

  • Certifications in LEED, Value Engineering, Energy Management or similar certifications
