Summary: Manager of Human Resources will collaborate and partner with Executive and Senior Leadership to strategically support many unique and challenging business initiatives. Lead and Manage in a changing environment.   Facilitates Human Resources programs that enhance a culture of inclusiveness and diversity with measurable results.  Possess strong project management, time management, organization, strategic and planning skills in order to implement key initiatives including talent acquisition, talent development, career planning, succession planning and resourcing for critical roles.

  • Talent Architect (talent review, calibration, promotions, succession planning, etc.)
  • Employee Engagement/Retention
  • Onboard Executive and Senior Leaders
  • Ensure the HR Department is in Compliance
  • Ensure Successful Integration of HR Programs
  • Implement HR Initiatives
  • Manage Intersections of HR Team and Business Delivery
  • Manage Talent Acquisition
  • Manage HR Team Members
  • Create and Manage Retention Strategies and Plans
  • Create an environment of high performance where each team member is encouraged to engage his/her strengths to accomplish results and further growth and development
    • Highly effective and inclusive communicator, bridging HR vision/priorities with business specific needs and goals.
    • Actively translates the difference between important and critical, clearing the path of time-wasters and obstacles to success.
    • Drives team and culture to be more metrics driven and forward looking.  Knows how to measure what we manage and manage what we measure.
    • Capable of and willing to confront and resolve conflict and take a stand when the organization’s needs are not being well-served.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
  • SPHR/PHR certificate preferred
  • 12+ years of HR experience
  • 3+ years managing HR talent
  • Industry experience in professional services / consulting firms a must (Engineering Industry preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of integrity and ability to work with confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a high performing environment
  • Strong management and facilitation skills required
  • Able to lead and work effectively within a team environment
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Experience with Clear Company ATS, a plus
  • Experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
    • Deltek Vision ERP, a plus
  • Experience with Training Systems
    • Red Vector, a plus
